I haven't written anything forever on this blog and I thought I probably should, especially since we haven't been on Facebook for a couple months.
Speaking of Facebook, I must say it has been great to take a break from the platform. It has been a great thing for us as a family as we don't find ourselves comparing our lives to our neighbors or wondering what anyone is going to eat... :)
The only function I miss about Facebook is the ability to pray for people who are going through difficulties in life. Please know that Michelle and I are willing to pray for you and your situations. We still have phones, text messaging, email, and even blogs...
Love Ya,
Nate

Here we are half way through March already.. Amazing how all the time flies by. We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our newest family member Harley... He is a whopping 3.5 pounds right now and according the the breeder he is just full of life. The kids are super pumped about it and Michelle has gone into the nesting phase. Yes I am joking about that but I know you could imagine her doing that...
Take Care,

Hey Everyone,
I got a paycheck the other day and when I look at it I can't help but want to reach for the Mylanta. Here is a guy who claims 4 dependents total and the check was 1750 gross. The total taxes, social security, and medicare taken out on that money was about 750 bucks!!
One of my biggest bills yes I said it bills, is the Government every month. I pay the government more money than my grocery bill, electric bill, and gas bill combined each month. The Government cost me more than both of my vehicles put together each month!!
I suppose many reading this would say well your freedom comes at a price. I would agree with that and don't want to argue about military costs and security. But when I see and hear in the news that most of my money and future debt for my children is going to the banks that makes me absolutely sick. These CEO's that think they can run a company with their hand in the cookie jar the whole time should be thrown in prison. We prosecute Madoff and then let AIG run rampant with Tax payers money???
Today I read about states delaying on their tax refunds to their residents this year. Why is it that they can delay the refund? If we delay the payment of taxes we get thrown in prison? The system is really messed up and we need to get back to the basics of life and liberty.

Hello Family and Friends,
It's been a while since I have updated this site. I thought I would say quickly that the Olympics have been stellar this year! I have really enjoyed watching them this year.
We are getting pumped about a new family edition coming on March 10th. No not any more children here!!! We are getting a new family member in the form of a puppy. A Morkie to be exact! He is very cute and although I have never been much of a fan of ankle bitters, this dog has got our hearts already.
The name we are settling on is Harley!
Much Love,
Nate
